Rehabilitation Psychology
Becoming injured or being diagnosed with a condition can have a profound emotional and psychological impact upon an individual. Rehabilitation Psychology can help individuals process and make sense of the thoughts and feelings that are common for those passing through a rehabilitation journey.
Guidelines for the management of complex conditions have consistently advised that rehabilitation professionals should work as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. The desire to help patients build the best possible team of rehab professionals made launching our Rehabilitation Psychology service an obvious step for Merseyside Health.
