What is Shockwave Therapy?
Shockwave therapy is a modality which uses sound waves to stimulate the tissues of the body. It is commonly used to treat tendon issues in sports medicine practice but also has a wide variety of uses in general practice.

Mati graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2024 as a physiotherapist with a strong passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injury rehabilitation, and athlete-focused care. After graduation Mati gained valuable experience with Everton Volleyball Club, supporting athletes with injury prevention and recovery. In addition to her physiotherapy degree Mati holds a sports massage qualification, this allows her to integrate hands on soft tissue therapy into her physiotherapy treatment to enhance recovery and performance.
