Tayla Hartley

Tayla joined Merseyside Health in 2022 as an Associate Sports Therapist BSc Hons. In addition to her soft tissue skills in sports massage and cupping therapy, Tayla’s degree in sports therapy and experience working alongside local football teams has put her in a great position to support those with sports injuries on their rehabilitation journey.

Tayla has also undertaken additional training in clinical Pilates. She holds APPI Level 1&2 in matwork and APPI level 1,2 & 3 Reformer. These skills allow her to support patients with back pain and regain fitness and confidence through combining Pilates with her hands-on skills. In 2023, Tayla started working with Ben Watkins in delivering the Merseyside Health Hydrotherapy Service. She now regularly assists him with sessions for people with chronic pain, recovering from surgery, stroke and amputee rehabilitation.

Tayla’s relaxed and friendly manners are well suited to helping people in pain return to exercise and she is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the best soft tissue therapists in Merseyside.
