Sue Oswald

Prior to becoming a founder of Compass Physiotherapy alongside Steff Fitzpatrick in 2007, Sue worked as a senior clinical physiotherapist at Southport General Hospital in orthopaedics, outpatients and spinal injuries. Sue has a wealth of experience in all musculoskeletal disorders and post-operative care. Known within the team and externally for her excellent diagnostic skills, Sue is regularly sought out for second opinions to help confirm a clinical diagnosis. 

Alongside her busy full time musculoskeletal treatment caseload, Sue has a special interest in shoulder injuries and neurological conditions. Neurological conditions which Sue has a special interest in includes the treatment of stroke, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis (MS). Helping patients to maximise their potential and maintain their independence is central to Sues approach. 

Outside of physiotherapy Sue enjoys socialising with family & friends, visiting the Lake District national park and walking her beloved collie Ziggy on our local beach.
