Jaron Tan

Originally from the tropical island of Singapore, Jaron graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2023 with a first class honours degree and relocated to Liverpool to begin his professional career as a physiotherapist. He gained broad clinical experience across multiple specialties including gerontology, acute stroke rehabilitation and in musculoskeletal and orthopaedics. Today, Jaron specialises in musculoskeletal services at Wirral University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

As a former competitive amateur boxer, Jaron boxed at national level and has had his fair share of injuries and rehabilitation. His practice is grounded in a patient-centred philosophy, promoting empowerment, and is guided by evidence-based practice. A strong advocate for rehabilitation that aligns with individual patient goals, Jaron is committed to helping patients regain function, improve quality of life, and take an active role in their recovery journey.

Outside of work, Jaron enjoys travelling Europe, working out at the gym, running and playing football – all’s well until you ask him what team he supports!
