Lewis Porter

Lewis qualified from Northumbria University in 2019 with a First Class BSc Physiotherapy degree. He is a Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist with a keen interest in MSK and sports rehabilitation as well. He also works in the NHS at The Walton Centre where he treats a wide range of patients with various neurological and MSK conditions. He has completed a masters module in Stroke Practice, a Bobath course and takes a keen interest in all things strength and conditioning.

Since qualifying Lewis has gained over 7 years of NHS experience including neurological, trauma & orthopaedics, complex rehabilitation and MSK physiotherapy specialities. He is committed to helping people achieve the goals that matter to them most, using the wide range of skills he has acquired over his career and believes in treating each individual with a holistic approach to address them as a person rather than a labelled condition.

Outside of work he has previously played badminton and squash to high regional standards but nowadays his interests have turned to climbing, running and playing padel. He is always that annoyingly competitive friend who will always take on a challenge as long as it doesn’t clash with the Liverpool match.
