I’m a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist here at Merseyside Health and I also work in the NHS at The Walton Centre. My clinical background spans neuro-oncology, neuro rehabilitation critical care, respiratory outreach and trauma, giving me experience supporting people through both acute illness and longer-term recovery.
I have a particular interest and extensive experience in brain and spinal injuries, as well as a broad range of neurological conditions. I take a warm, person-centred approach to rehabilitation, recognising that every individual has different goals, challenges and priorities.
For me, physiotherapy is about more than improving physical function. It’s about helping people regain confidence, independence and quality of life. I work closely with each person to create practical, personalised rehabilitation programmes that are meaningful to them and support them in achieving their goals.
I find it incredibly rewarding to be part of someone’s rehabilitation journey and to help them recognise and achieve what they are capable of.
Outside of physiotherapy, I enjoy keeping active and spending time with my family. I’m a keen rugby union and football fan, and I enjoy going to the gym and maintaining an active lifestyle. I also love travelling and experiencing new places and cultures.
I think my own enjoyment of sport and staying active gives me a real appreciation for how important movement and physical independence can be to a person’s everyday life — something I bring into my approach to rehabilitation.
