Mati Siu

Mati graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2024 as a physiotherapist with a strong passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injury rehabilitation, and athlete-focused care. After graduation Mati gained valuable experience with Everton Volleyball Club, supporting athletes with injury prevention and recovery. In addition to her physiotherapy degree Mati holds a sports massage qualification, this allows her to integrate hands on soft tissue therapy into her physiotherapy treatment to enhance recovery and performance.

 Asked about her role here at Merseyside Health, Mati said “I wish to deliver hands-on care and tailored rehab plans for active individuals and those returning to sport. I have a background as both a player and coach in competitive volleyball, giving me unique insight into the demands of sport-specific movement and injury management.” 

Away from the clinic, Mati enjoys staying active through volleyball, gym training, and bouldering.
