Steff Fitzpatrick

Prior to founding Compass Physiotherapy with Sue Oswald in 2007, Steff worked as a clinical specialist physiotherapist in rheumatology and other related conditions at the Royal Liverpool Hospital. Steff has a wealth of experience in all aspects of physiotherapy including hydrotherapy, musculo-skeletal disorders, rheumatology and whiplash injuries. In addition to her physiotherapy practice, Steff also has a special interest in acupuncture, which is used to complement the physiotherapy treatment where appropriate.

In addition to Steff’s interests in the management of common rheumatological conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR), lupus and hypermobility syndrome. Steff also has a particular interest in the treatment of back pain and spinal conditions. Having completed additional post graduate training in the McKenzie method, Steff uses a combination of specific exercise, hands on treatment and various modalities such as electrotherapy and acupuncture to help her patients achieve pain free movement.
