After graduating in 2013 with a degree in Exercise Science from Lindenwood University in the USA, Will went on to coach tennis at the John Newcombe’s Tennis Academy focusing on the physical development of elite players. On returning to the UK Will completed Pre-Reg Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham.

Following his physiotherapy graduation in 2020, Will has worked across a number of NHS speciality rotations both in adults and paediatrics (children and adolescents) including; Trauma & Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal & Hydrotherapy, Acute Medical, Neuro and Intensive care. Following his initial rotations in the NHS he also completed a year in Australia within a private clinic and worked pitch side for the East Fremantle Sharks Australian Football team.

Alongside his general musculoskeletal experience Will also has a particular interest in working with youth athletes. He currently works with Liverpool Women’s Football Academy, England Paralympic Football teams and is a Paralympic Athlete Classifier for Pentathlon GB. He holds qualifications in Advanced Trauma Medical Management in Football (ATMMIF), Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) and Safeguarding Children in football (The FA).

Will currently covers a number of clinics at Merseyside Health including Occupational Health contracts, paediatrics & adult general musculoskeletal and hydrotherapy. Will has a genuine interest in helping people of all ages and ability recover from injury and has a positive outlook on each person’s journey.

Outside of physiotherapy Will enjoys playing tennis, padel and running, including the occasional 10k event. He enjoys travel throughout Europe, his favourite destination being Sweden.
